Data Engineer

The Role

• Synthesize large-scale operational data into actionable insights for automation design and improvement.

• Develop and maintain key performance metrics, reports, and dashboards to track operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and investigate patterns in equipment effectiveness and operational issues.

• Translate complex data into meaningful insights to support tactical decision-making for machine and process design.

• Analyze performance data from new automation technologies and systems.

• Mine and manipulate data from various sources, including log files, to uncover trends and anomalies.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

• Experience with a scripting language such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Perl, or Ruby.

• Experience in data mining, data management, and reporting.

• Familiarity with analytical tools like Tableau, Qlikview, or similar.

• Understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability.
