BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Analyst for a Remote OpportunityPosition Title: Supply Chain AnalystLocation: RemoteAnticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12+ months, possible extension based on business needs

Job Type: Remote-PST TimePay Range: $43/hr. - $45/hr.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support end-to-end supply planning and supplier operations. In this role, you will ensure timely and accurate supply ordering, monitor supplier performance, mitigate supply risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless operations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, supplier management experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive timely and accurate supply ordering and delivery to meet business requirements.
  • Monitor supplier lead times and track schedules against plans, proactively managing deviations and mitigating supply risks.
  • Identify supply chain risks and implement improvements through supplier capability assessments and process optimization.
  • Monitor market trends, geopolitical conditions, and technology roadmaps to anticipate supply and demand challenges.
  • Ensure operational readiness for new components, suppliers, equipment, and geographic expansions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve delivery issues, prioritize critical needs, and maintain supply commitments.
  • Drive implementation and adoption of new tools, systems, and metrics to improve supply visibility and data accuracy.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships focused on continuous performance improvement.
  • Conduct RFQs by comparing supplier quotes, analyzing data, and recommending supplier awards based on defined criteria.
  • Troubleshoot purchase order (PO) issues and ensure timely PO issuance to avoid delivery delays.
  • Maintain accurate supply chain data across multiple systems and tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing supplier performance and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend solutions.
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and communicating business insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills

  • Strong data analysis and analytical skills.
  • Parts management and supply planning experience.
  • Supplier relationship management and stakeholder collaboration.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience conducting Request for Quotations (RFQs).
  • Background in manufacturing, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), or data center environments.
  • Project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows, automate processes, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of responsible and ethical AI practices, including quality reviews, risk assessment, and bias mitigation.
  • Demonstrated interest in emerging AI technologies, prompt engineering, or AI-driven process improvements.
  • Experience in supply chain fulfillment operations, including forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, order management, MPS/MRP, inventory management, and logistics.
