👨‍🔬 About the Role:

As a Staff Data Scientist, you'll be at the core of IAS's fraud prevention tech, helping to build real-time, ML-powered detection systems that safeguard billions of ad events per day across web, mobile, CTV, gaming, and more.

🚀 What You’ll Do:

• Drive innovative ML research to stop ad fraud in its tracks
• Develop scalable IVT (invalid traffic) detection systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams & the Threat Lab
• Mentor junior data scientists & lead high-impact projects
• Own your work from prototype ➡️ production ➡️ live monitoring
• Make complex models understandable & impactful to stakeholders

🧠 You Bring:

• PhD or Master’s in Math, CS, Stats, Physics, Econ, etc.
• 6–10 years of real-world ML/Data Science experience
• Python, R, SQL mastery & experience with weak supervision
• Experience shipping ML systems end-to-end
• Curiosity, creativity & a commitment to rigorous science
• A love for solving tough problems and telling stories with data 📊

💰 Salary Range (NY-based): $135,100 – $230,000 (based on experience + location)
