Following significant success, Onetag is now scaling internationally and looking to hire a Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant!
You will support our finance department in managing accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the programmatic advertising sector while contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
The role is fully remote however there may be some office time required during onboarding. The part time hours are:
20 hours a week, 5 days a week, 4 hours a day (9am - 1pm).What You’ll Do:
Working in an ad tech startup means that things often change and we adapt to the growing and changing needs of the business. We expect the below to be the bulk of the role, but this may change over time:
- Assist in processing vendor invoices and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Liaise with the Customer Success team if necessary to confirm supply partners’ payment details.
- Liaise with supply partners and vendors and reply to their queries (unpaid balance, balance discrepancies etc.).
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including reporting and analysis.
- Assist in vendor management and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Prepare/assist with regular publishers’/vendors payment runs.
- Help with various administrative tasks as needed.
Skills and Qualifications You’ll Have:
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in the Accounts Payable field with a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or currently pursuing – AAT/ACCA qualification).
- Good understanding of double entry and accounts payable processes and financial principles.
- Confident in using of Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe, and familiarity with accounting software. Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and must be able to complete delegated tasks in agreed timeframe.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
