Business System Analyst

My client are a prestigious global player and they require a Business Systems Analyst with experience of working with Unit4 (Agresso or CODA) on a remote basis.

This is a permanent position that offers flexibility and great benefits.

The main purpose of this role is to work in both a technical & functional capacity to deliver new enhancements and functionality using the Unit 4 ERP suite which is used globally by my client. The role will also involve an element of system support, internal consulting and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Technical delivery of system enhancement, improvement and functionality projects;
• Identify areas of opportunity for future enhancement within the Unit 4 ERP product suites;
• As required, work with other internal systems project teams, to ensure tighter data sharing, and reduce duplication, inefficiency, and interface translation requirements;
• Provide support and assistance regarding systems implications of business process change;
• 3rd Line Support for Unit 4 ERP function
• Enforce governance around QA, change management, documentation of solutions, maintain a knowledge base ensuring release and reference documentation is stored in central repository.

Essential Skills

• Good all-round IT Knowledge
• Experience of working on and supporting ERP systems - Unit 4 (Agresso / CODA)
• Ability to create, document and implement solutions based on a set of requirements.
• Have a clear understanding of the ERP support systems and how we can use it to our advantage
• Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels and an ability to effectively liaise with 3rd parties to deliver solutions.
• SQL experience and knowledge
• Prioritise workload based on severity and impact to customer and demonstrate a sense of urgency when handling tickets
• Write test scripts and help to ensure quality of solution prior to user acceptance testing
• Test and document patches/ bug fixes before they are deployed to the live environment
• Monitoring and managing interfaces

Desirable Experience

• On premise experience transitioning to Cloud;
• Experience with integrations, point solutions and/or other ERPs;
• Good secondary and/or equivalent education: A levels, HND/C or degree;
• Any Financial/HR related qualifications.
