Reporting to: Head of People and Performance

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲:

You’ll keep our finances accurate and running smoothly - from day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll to month-end reporting and analysis. You’ll support our Finance Manager and CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial insights, while ensuring invoices, reconciliations, and compliance are always on track. Working with colleagues, suppliers, and external accountants, you’ll help provide the clarity and confidence the business needs to make smart decisions.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼:

In-Month Accounting

● Bank reconciliations

● Employee expense processing

● Supplier bill processing

● Preparing supplier payments runs

● Customer invoicing

● Managing credit control

● First Line support on internal finance enquiries

Month-End Reporting

● Full suite of month-end checks and reconciliations

● Preparing management reports

● Supporting in analyses for management packs, writing commentary and the delivery and presentation to stakeholders

Support to Finance Manager, CFO and Leadership Team

● Collating or analysing data to assist building the budgeting model

● Overseeing the preparation of VAT returns

● Cashflow forecasting

● KPI analyses

● Ad hoc data interrogation and interpretation

Payroll

● Liaising with 3rd third-party suppliers to manage UK & ROW payroll

Supplier Management

● Supplier Management & Input to supplier performance reviews

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Xero Certified User, or proven ability on Xero equivalent to certification

• Part/full accountancy qualification suitable for UK market (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, etc.).

• 3+ years of bookkeeping and accounting experience in a commercial environment, ideally in a professional services or people-as-a-service business.

• Proven ability to work remotely, contribute to an efficient team, and to take on and follow instructions taking responsibility and accountability for outputs.

• The following software experience is required:

o Xero

• The following software would be beneficial:

o Dext

o ApprovalMax

o Telleroo

o MS Suite

o Slack

o Scoro

• Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities.
