Role Description
The Director of Finance and Accounting is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial operations at Dolce Glow. This role manages the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The director will lead financial planning and budgeting processes, including forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic financial modeling to support growth initiatives. Daily responsibilities include supervising accounting activities, monitoring internal controls, coordinating audits, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The director will partner with executive leadership to provide analytical insights, develop financial strategies, and support decision-making across product development, operations, and expansion plans.

Qualifications
- 7-8 years of relevwnt experience

- Strong foundation in Finance with proven expertise in Financial Planning and budgeting processes.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in a growing organization.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, including data analysis, variance analysis, and financial modeling for strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing accounting teams, month-end close processes, and internal controls.
- Proficiency with financial and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, and reporting tools).
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP or relevant accounting standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelorās degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- Experience in consumer products, beauty, or e-commerce environments is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across distributed teams.
