Are you an experienced sales leader with a passion for selling high quality STEM curriculum?

Los Angeles ORT College is a dynamic and innovative organization focused on revolutionizing STEM education with a rigorous K-12 curriculum. They are looking for a visionary Director of Sales to lead their efforts to expand market presence and drive sales growth.

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that drive growth and market penetration. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in start-ups and a deep understanding of the K-12 education market, particularly in STEM.

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust sales and marketing strategy, including pricing, forecasting, and pipeline management to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Monitor market trends, education policy, and customers’ needs to adjust strategy accordingly
  • Identify new market opportunities and create go-to-market strategies to capitalize on them
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including school districts, educational institutions, and other strategic partners
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure product market alignment and coordinate product enhancements as needed
  • Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Track, analyze, and regularly report on key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Several years of experience selling curriculum, including STEM, to high schools and districts
  • Proven success identifying and securing net-new business and building strategic relationships in new markets
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating business operations and strategic sales plans from the ground up in a rapidly growing organization
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
