AI Quality Control Assistant

p>Tech Pipeline works to resolve operational drag by investigating where data goes bad and why internal systems fail. As an AI Quality Control Assistant, you will support our AI2 initiatives by ensuring that the automated tools we build to handle routing and reconciliation are accurate, reliable, and functional for the operators who use them. This is a fully remote role focused on the ground truth of how data moves through a business. About the role Companies often try to solve processing backlogs with automation, but these tools frequently create new errors by misinterpreting technical logs or failing to follow complex routing rules. This role is about identifying those errors before they become permanent problems in a client system. You will act as a human check on AI outputs, making sure the data reflects the actual technical reality of the work being done. Since we avoid abstract strategy and focus on concrete solutions, your day will involve looking directly at the systems to find where the logic is drifting. What you will be doing

• Reviewing automated summaries of technical logs to confirm they match the source data exactly.
• Testing automated routing rules to ensure documents and tasks are directed to the correct departments.
• Identifying instances where AI models provide incorrect data during a reconciliation task.
• Updating internal documentation and SOPs when logic gaps are discovered in the automation pipeline.
• Comparing historical data against current outputs to detect subtle drifts in reporting accuracy.
• Logging specific errors found in the middle-ware so our team can adjust the underlying logic.
• Checking that system integrations are correctly mapping data fields from one tool to another.

What we need from you

• A strong eye for detail and the patience to compare two sets of technical data for small discrepancies.
• Clear writing skills to describe exactly where an automated process failed without using filler words.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets, text files, and various types of system logs.
• The ability to follow multi-step testing workflows without skipping steps.
• Reliable time management and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• A logical approach to problem-solving and an interest in how business software works under the hood.
• Willingness to learn the specific routing rules and business logic of our different clients.

Helpful background

• Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or a junior technical support role.
