Role Description
We are looking for an Accounting & Reporting Specialist Europe (Spain & Italy) for a full-time, 100% remote position (preferably based in the province of Barcelona).
The role focuses on accounting and financial reporting for Spain and Italy, with close interaction with the European CFO and COO.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage accounting and finance in Spain
- Prepare monthly closings for Italy & Spain: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Monitor client payments and ensure deadlines to maintain a stable cash flow
- Collaborate with business leaders in Spain and Italy, providing financial insights and supporting decision-making
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit (multinational experience is a plus)
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, large datasets, reporting)
- Fluent in Spanish and advanced English; Italian is a plus
- Knowledge of Netsuite is a plus (implementation in progress)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a 100% remote setup
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
