The Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced primary teacher to take on the role of 3D Curriculum Development Manager. This is a senior leadership position focused on the delivery, management, and quality assurance of a fully developed 3D curriculum across Geography, Science, History, Art, Design & Technology, and Computing. This curriculum is closely integrated with our cross-curricular reading scheme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the completion and release of this curriculum, overseeing a team of content creators, editors, designers, and administrative staff. They will ensure all resources are completed to a high standard, reviewed thoroughly, and delivered on time. A key part of the role involves maintaining exceptional standards of teaching and learning, while also contributing to the platform’s user experience from a teacher’s perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and finalisation of the existing 3D curriculum, ensuring high-quality resource completion
- Manage a cross-functional team of resource developers, proofreaders, editors, designers, and administrative staff
- Maintain clear communication and provide regular updates on project progress to the company owner
- Review and approve all curriculum materials, ensuring they are accurate, pedagogically sound, aligned with learning objectives, and user-friendly for teachers
- Contribute to improvements in the user experience for teachers accessing resources via the Grammarsaurus platform
- Collaborate with the English Curriculum Development Manager on intersecting projects
- Monitor and respond to upcoming UK curriculum changes, adapting project plans accordingly
- Support the potential expansion of the curriculum to meet international requirements in the future
Essential Criteria
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary education
- Proven experience in managing educational projects or leading curriculum/resource development
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple workstreams
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in reviewing educational materials for quality and accuracy
- Confident communicator, capable of giving constructive feedback and making informed decisions
- Proactive, adaptable, and willing to engage with curriculum developments at a national level
Desirable
- Experience working with or developing content for digital education platforms
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles in an educational context
- Experience with or interest in international curricula
