Position: Financial Sponsors Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $100–$200/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Seed AI models with finance-related datasets derived from real-world financial artifacts, including incomplete spreadsheets and ambiguous documents.
• Curate and structure messy financial datasets to support robust AI training workflows.
• Collaborate with finance professionals to gather, analyze, and normalize diverse financial data sources.
• Provide written and verbal feedback to guide model development and improve interpretation of complex sponsor scenarios.
• Participate in iterative data seeding and structuring processes across evolving project workflows.
• Evaluate how AI models interpret, reconstruct, and extend partially structured financial documents.
• Apply domain expertise to inform AI training strategies involving financial sponsor and deal-related data.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Professional experience working with financial data, spreadsheets, or financial artifacts.
• Comfort organizing and interpreting messy, incomplete, or unstructured financial datasets.
• Familiarity with finance workflows, terminology, and sponsor-related financial scenarios.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate ambiguity and provide constructive feedback.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed teams in remote environments.
