About the Role

This is a full-time remote role with 10-25% travel as needed for a Sales Manager.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing accounts, promoting and selling products and services, creating sales forecasts and reports, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with other members of the sales team to drive revenue growth

Carry out specific responsibilities in each step of the sales process, which includes:

  • Identifying prospective customers
  • Developing, executing, documenting and maintaining sufficient customer sales projects to exceed sales growth expectations for the territory
  • Authoring and executing strategic plans for key customers.
  • Establishing relationships with individuals at all levels of the customers’ organization
  • Making technical sales presentations on BTSA products/services
  • Develops and maintains customer database. Assures maintenance of sales report database (Salesforce)

Qualifications

• Sales, Business Development, or Account Management experience

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Ability to work independently and remotely

• Experience in the food, nutraceutical, cosmetics and personal care, and animal nutrition industries is a plus

• Bachelor's degree or work experience in Sales, Business Management, or related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software

• Fluent in English

• Spanish is a plus

• Travel within assigned territory monthly
