As we continue to scale nationally, we’re creating a new role at Bare - Talent Partner - and we’d love you to help us build the team that will take us into our next chapter.

This is a full time role, primarily work from home.

So what is the role, exactly?

As our Talent Partner, you’ll own end-to-end recruitment across the business, from our frontline funeral services teams, to marketing, tech and leadership roles. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand what “great” looks like, then go out and find it.

The culture we've built at Bare is unique. We've built the highest performing team in the industry, full of low ego, empathy led people who are great to work with. You'll be responsible for codifying that culture and making sure every new hire improves it.

This is a hands on role with real ownership. Over time, you’ll help define our recruitment strategy, improve our processes, and build a hiring experience that reflects the care and thoughtfulness we bring to everything we do.

That makes sense, but what would my day-to-day look like?

In this role, you’re not supporting grieving families directly, but you’re enabling the people who do, by making sure we have a large pipeline of exceptional talent to draw from when we need them. You'll have an immediate advantage in attracting talent, as we are the employer brand of choice for anyone wanting to work in end of life.

Your days will typically involve:

  • partnering with hiring managers to deeply understand role needs, team dynamics, and what “success” looks like
  • owning end-to-end recruitment across multiple roles at once — from brief to offer
  • proactively headhunting candidates (not just posting ads and waiting)
  • screening CVs, conducting initial interviews, and guiding candidates through the process
  • creating thoughtful, human candidate experiences that reflect Bare’s values
  • continuously improving how we hire — tools, processes, job ads, interviews, and decision making
  • helping us scale recruitment in a way that stays high quality, not high volume

You’ll work closely with leaders across the business, and be trusted to run your patch with autonomy and judgment.

Ok, sounds great. Who are you looking for?

You care deeply about getting the right people into the business, not just moving roles along. You’re comfortable owning recruitment end-to-end, making judgment calls, and being accountable for the quality of every hire. You are passionate about continually levelling up the business with truly exceptional talent.

You’ll likely have:

  • solid experience recruiting in-house or in an agency environment
  • strong instincts for people, cultural fit, and A players
  • the ability to manage multiple roles (from transfer drivers to engineers) without sacrificing quality or pace
  • a structured, organised approach, paired with good judgment and flexibility

But experience alone isn’t the point. We’re looking for someone who:

  • treats candidates with care, clarity, and respect
  • brings a practical, no-ego mindset to their work
  • communicates clearly and follows through
  • is comfortable operating in a growing, changing environment
