Business Data Analyst

Title: Sr. Business Data Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months contract

Must have: Business analysis, extensive sql experience, building reports as a BA & key concepts such as data contracts exp is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with business intelligence tools Preferred & Knowledge of SQL to mine, aggregate, and gather data preferred.

We are looking for candidates who at a minimum:

• · Have knowledge of querying and analyzing data with SQL (advanced SQL not required - they can pick it up as they go)
• · Some knowledge/experience with data warehousing
• · Are willing and interested to experiment with using AI in their role (Copilot, Claude, Rovo)
• · Are critical thinkers, curious, and interested in learning
• · Are not afraid to ask questions and raise knowledge gaps
• · Stakeholder management

Those are the minimum need to haves. Nice to haves are (in order of preference, most important at the top):

• · Experience with functional requirements elicitation
• · Experience consulting on solution design for data warehouses
• · Experience working with sales/product/customer/usage/subscription data
• · Familiarity with Fabric/Azure
• · Experience with Power BI and/or MSCRM (or any other CRM)
• · Experience in with the publishing industry

Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

This role is open to W2 or those seeking Corp-Corp employment. The salary range for this role is $97 - $105k. For corp-Corp rates please contact the recruiter.
