WOW Recruitment are looking for a high-performing Senior Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition and accelerate our growth across the mid-market logistics sector in Australia.

As a key commercial hire, you’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through to product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing. For the right candidate, there’s potential to step into a leadership role over time, mentoring and coaching a growing team once you’ve proven consistent results.

  • Location: Sydney or Melbourne
  • Working Model: Remote
  • Salary: $130-150k + Super + Uncapped Comms
  • Leadership experience preferred.Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and engage mid-market prospects through a combination of outbound calls, networking, and in-person meetings.
  • Leverage the client's established customer base in Australia to generate referrals and identify lookalike opportunities.
  • Drive complex, consultative sales cycles—including solution discovery, tailored presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiation—through to successful close.
  • Maintain a structured pipeline by applying a defined sales methodology, ensuring high activity levels and disciplined opportunity tracking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to continuously refine the go-to-market strategy.
  • Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and other market-facing engagements.

About You

  • 5+ years of success in a new business sales role within B2B SaaS.
  • Proven track record in both outbound phone-based prospecting and face-to-face selling - ideally within mid-market logistics or related software verticals (e.g. ERP or supply chain software).
  • Skilled in complex, multi-stakeholder solution selling, with full ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Experience working with or selling to logistics-related industries (e.g. last-mile delivery, transport management platforms) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with channel sales or managing strategic partners is a plus.
