Financial Controller

Are you a numbers-driven, detail-obsessed finance professional with a strategic mindset? We’re looking for a Financial Controller to help us at Volup and Ubimov to own the full financial picture across both companies—bringing clarity, efficiency, and insight as we grow.

Ubimov is becoming the largest TVDE operator in Portugal.

While each company has its own mission and team, we’re now ready to unify our financial leadership into a single, powerhouse role. You’ll work directly with the founder and C-level leadership, becoming a strategic partner in key decisions, fundraising, and growth.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain detailed P&L, cash-flow models, and forecasting tools
• Lead financial controlling across both companies
• Prepare financial reports
• Provide actionable insights from financial data to support strategic planning
• Own the financial data infrastructure and ensure consistency across both entities
• Partner with founders to manage investor updates, due diligence, and budgeting cycles

What you bring

• Advanced Excel skills – you live in spreadsheets and love making them sing
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s is a plus)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, consulting, or similar
• Sharp attention to detail, high integrity, and ability to thrive in ambiguity
• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities across two companies
• Strong English proficiency – written and spoken
