ANKOM004: Operations ManagerOperations Manager – Full-Time, Remote (Preferably based in Europe)

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to become the operational backbone of the client. This pivotal role will focus on scaling our vision: bridging ancient wisdom and modern wellness. You will develop and maintain systems, lead cross-functional coordination, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations across logistics, inventory, HR, customer experience, and finance.

You will enable the founders to concentrate on vision and creativity by taking full ownership of execution, structure, and scaling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead operational systems across logistics, inventory, finance, and need to review and take on report from founder
  • Oversee and optimise inventory management, supplier logistics, and cross-border coordination.
  • Manage new product launches with strong project management and stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead internal reporting routines and foster effective cross-functional communication.
  • Initiate cost savings in the business, breaking down all aspects of the business and finding highest leverage areas for saving. Success would mean saving money for us
  • Establish and maintain training frameworks to support line managers and team development.
  • Act as the operational integrator, ensuring alignment between founder vision and day-to-day delivery.
  • Drive SOP enhancements, and quality control with overseas manufacturers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations management or leadership within a high-growth direct-to-consumer (DTC) or wellness brand.
  • Strong systems thinker and process builder with excellent attention to detail.
  • High emotional intelligence; adept at navigating founder dynamics and company culture.
  • Proactive decision-maker capable of operating independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience managing teams and implementing training and accountability frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable leading in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Collaborative leader who builds trust and empowers others to lead effectively.
  • Ideally based in Europe (no gender preference).

  • A smooth, scalable operational engine supporting all business functions.
  • KPIs and dashboards providing full visibility to the team and founders.
  • Founders have greater time and space for creative and strategic growth.
  • New product launches executed without crises or missed deadlines.
  • Stronger team culture, accountability, and leadership development across functions.

  • Launch on amazon, no stock outs

First 90 Days:

  • Fully immerse yourself in operations, systems, and team dynamics.
  • Take ownership of inventory and logistics to free up founder time.
  • Develop baseline dashboards and reporting systems.
  • Implement quality control oversight and prepare for new product launches.
