Freelance Marketing - Remote

This mentorship role is focused on providing expert guidance to an author with three well-reviewed books, seeking to enhance their presence and marketing efforts on Substack and Threads. The author is already experienced in creating video content and is active on X, but requires unbiased, strategic coaching to navigate new channels and overcome challenges such as shadow banning. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact by sharing your expertise in social media marketing and personal branding. Responsibilities

• Assess the author’s current social media presence and identify growth opportunities on Substack and Threads
• Develop a tailored strategy for book promotion and audience engagement, considering the unique subject matter and target audience
• Provide actionable advice on content planning, posting schedules, and community building for Substack and Threads
• Offer guidance on best practices for avoiding platform restrictions and maximizing visibility
• Deliver one-on-one coaching sessions, addressing specific questions and challenges as they arise
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies to ensure measurable growth in followers and engagement

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience in social media marketing, with a focus on Substack, Threads, and similar platforms
• Strong understanding of audience development, content strategy, and digital community building
• Ability to provide unbiased, professional advice regardless of subject matter
• Familiarity with challenges such as shadow banning and platform moderation
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach
