Freelance Illustrator – Remote

This role involves transforming a diverse collection of photographs into high-quality sketches, paintings, and digital illustrations, with the potential to develop these into finished pieces or mural art tailored to client specifications. The position also requires support across a range of design projects, including the creation of business cards, Canva templates, office stickers and supplies, logos, banners, flyers, and other digital artwork. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely to interpret creative briefs and deliver visually compelling solutions that align with the client’s artistic vision and business needs.

Deliverables

- Convert photographs into digital sketches, paintings, or illustrations suitable for print and mural applications

- Design and prepare business cards, banners, flyers, and other marketing collateral

- Develop Canva templates and office supplies graphics for internal and client use

- Create custom logos and branding assets as required

- Produce digital artwork for various creative projects, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines

- Prepare files for print and digital distribution, maintaining high quality standards

Requirements

- Proficiency in digital illustration and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Procreate)

- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in illustration, digital art, and graphic design

- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate concepts into finished artwork

- Experience preparing files for both print and digital formats

- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills

- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely

- Availability for part-time, contract-based work

- Prior experience with mural or large-scale artwork is a plus
