Director of Product Marketing
TruckerCloud 路 Remote (US) 路 Atlanta preferred 路 Full-time
About TruckerCloud
Commercial trucking generates an enormous amount of telematics data and almost none of it reaches the people underwriting the risk. TruckerCloud fixes that. We normalize data across roughly 200 telematics and ELD systems and deliver it to about 80 insurance carriers and MGAs.by investors who understand insurance. We are now launching two new products: FleetFile, a predictive crash score, and a platform built for agents and brokers.
The role
We are hiring our first Director of Product Marketing to own how those products reach the market.
This is a build job. There is no existing playbook, no team to inherit, and no established positioning to refine. You will define how we talk about our products, what we charge for them, and how our commercial team sells them. For the first year you are the function rather than the manager of one.
You will report to the CEO and work daily with Sales, Customer Success, Product and our external actuarial partner.
What you will do
- Own positioning and messaging for FleetFile and our agent and broker platform
- Lead pricing and packaging research and bring recommendations backed by evidence
- Build the enablement that lets our team sell new products: the pitch, the objections, the battlecards, the training
- Run launches end to end across two very different buyers, insurance carriers and retail agencies
- Stand up win/loss and competitive intelligence from scratch
- Be in customer conversations every week and bring what you learn back to Product
- Direct the content that supports the sale: case studies, technical briefs, one-pagers
What you bring
- 6+ years in B2B product marketing, including 2+ leading product marketing for a technical or data product
- Experience in insurance telematics preferred but not necessary
- At least one launch you ran end to end where you personally trained the sales team and were measured on whether they could sell it
- Hands-on experience shaping pricing and packaging decisions, not just supporting them
- Fluency with data products: models, scores, APIs, integrations. You do not need to write code, but you should be capable of holding your own with an actuary or an engineer
- A genuine preference for customer-facing work. This role does not succeed from inside the building
Bonus points
- Insurance, insurtech, or fleet and transportation background
- Experience selling through agents, brokers or MGAs
- You have been the first or second marketing hire somewhere
Compensation and benefits
$160,000+ base depending on experience, plus equity and opportunity for performance bonus. Health, dental and vision coverage. Remote-first with roughly 25% travel to customers and industry events.
How to apply
Apply on Linkedin and send a short note telling us about a launch you ran and what the sales team was able to do afterward that they could not do before. We read every one.
