The Role
We’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic team assistant with a passion for sustainability to work with our friendly, dynamic team to inspire people around the world to make a better future.
As part of THRIVE, you will have the opportunity to:
- Champion new initiatives.
- Improve existing initiatives.
- Help shape our thrivability efforts.
- Meet regularly with team members.
- Present ideas to people from a variety of disciplines.
Your efforts will empower our team members and help inspire people to create a thrivable future.
There are also opportunities for specialisation within this role. Specialisations include::
- Accounting: Working with budgets, projections, and funding requests. This would ideally suit someone with accounting / bookkeeping experience.
- Legal: Internal reviews, ensuring adherence to standards and laws, and outbound communications in relation to this. This would ideally suit a paralegal or someone with experience with legal processes.
- Scheduling: Organising appointments, meetings (internally and externally), and events. This would ideally suit a virtual assistant or someone with online scheduling experience.
- Scholar: Assisting with research investigations and analyses. This would ideally suit an early career researcher (ECR).
- Event Convenor: Coordinating events and activities with the public, including emceeing. This would ideally suit someone with experience hosting and / or running public events (online or in-person).
Key Responsibilities
- Managing calendar and events
- Assisting newcomers with onboarding processes
- Providing general concierge assistance to teams
- Assisting the recruitment team with job posts
- Monitoring and evaluating newcomer integration processes
- Processing leave requests
- Actively participating in meetings.
- Joining webinars and other collaborative efforts.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in management or related field
- At least 2 years of commercial experience in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

- The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
