Sr. Category Manager/Project Manager

The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm, currently seeking a Sr. Category Manager for a prominent client of ours. This is a Fully Remote position based out of the EST Time zone -preferably located in Miramar, FL 33559. Details of the position are as follows:

Shift Information:

• Monday-Friday, Remote position! Preference for EST location alignment.
• Flexible pay range starting at $75+/hr!
• 12-Month contract to start! This is a W2 Contract (No 1099/C2C), with a possibility of extension or conversion beyond the original duration based on performance & budget at that time.

• Position is primarily responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of the External Talent (Non-Tech EW and Advisor) category across an enterprise-level supplier portfolio.
• Position will also be responsible for driving financial value, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance, optimizing supplier relationships, and enhancing operational efficiency through category strategy and performance management.
• Position will be in charge of partnering with global business leaders to identify opportunities to rationalize the supplier landscape, expand strategic partnerships, and implement scalable, sustainable sourcing strategies that align with corporate goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is required! MBA or PhD is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in sourcing, category management, procurement, or consulting with a proven record of driving measurable business value is required!
• Advanced Excel skills (creating/interpreting analytical models and category performance reports) are required!
• Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills, including comfort presenting to senior leadership are required!
• Experience managing large global contingent workforce programs is preferred!
• Experience producing high-quality sourcing documentation, presentations, and contract summaries is preferred!
