2. About the Opportunity:
The IT Principal Project Manager, Global is responsible for the successful delivery of complex, tech-enabled change projects across the organization. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and deliver value by managing the entire project lifecycle and coordinating resources. The position is critical for driving strategic initiatives that enhance technology deployment and support business objectives.
3. Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of technology projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Develop and maintain project plans encompassing activities, outputs, and dependencies.
- Oversee project financials, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Identify and allocate necessary resources, coordinating day-to-day team activities.
- Track and mitigate risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, escalating as needed.
- Manage relationships with delivery teams and third-party vendors.
- Communicate project status and health to sponsors and stakeholders regularly.
- Implement robust project governance including delivery, architecture, and change management.
- Facilitate regular meetings to govern project progress.
- Participate in program/project management communities to share best practices.
- Support development and continuous improvement of project management guidelines and frameworks.
- Lead, motivate, and appraise team members to meet business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
4. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Business Management, or related experience.
- 3-5 years of project management experience in the IT sector.
- Proven success delivering large, complex IT solutions or system implementation projects.
- Strong technical background with understanding or experience in software and system development.
- Experience negotiating and managing projects and processes.
- Skilled in stakeholder management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Project, Word, and Excel.
- Strong planning, organization, and budget/resource management skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
- Preferred: Project Management certifications such as PMP or Prince II.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The anticipated base pay range for this role is $144,541.00 to $216,812.00 per year, plus potential annual bonus based on plan eligibility and other requirements.
- Actual compensation will consider experience, location, education, and certifications.
