Travelling Project Manager - Industrial Interiors | Remote
I'm partnering with a rapidly growing commercial General Contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee industrial interior projects across the East Coast. This is a high-visibility role working closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, and internal teams to deliver complex interior buildouts.
What you'll do:
- Manage industrial interior projects from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and project documentation
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients
- Serve as a key client-facing representative throughout the project
- Drive project coordination, quality, productivity, and timely execution
- Review drawings, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications
- Manage multiple project priorities while maintaining schedule and budget
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, safety standards, and AHJ requirements
What they're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Strong background in industrial interiors, commercial interiors, or complex buildouts
- Experience with warehouses, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or industrial facilities preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-management skills
- Proficiency with Procore and project scheduling/cost-control software
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, contracts, and project controls
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed for projects
