Professional Services Team Lead - Mid Market ERP

Our client is looking for a hands on, roll up your sleeves Consultant/PM who is currently or was most recently working for an IT Service provider. Why is this important? This is a mixed role. On one hand, you will be project managing multiple mid market ERP implementations concurrently. On the other, you will be accountable for managing the consulting delivery team for the organisation, regardless of whether they are working on your project or not.

The ideal candidate will manage implementation, upgrades, and support services across various mid-market ERP platforms such as Acumatica, NetSuite and others. This role requires a strong background in project management, service delivery, client engagement, team leadership, and ERP domain expertise.

Key Responsibilities:Team and Function Management

• Develop and execute delivery models that prioritize client satisfaction, long-term partnerships, and solution adaptability to evolving business needs.
• Establish standardized, repeatable project and delivery methodologies that support growth
• Train and manage the Delivery team members on methodology, process and deliverables
• Oversee all inflight projects and act as the proactive and reactive escalation point for external clients and internal staff to resolve issues and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through KPIs, post-implementation reviews, and lessons learned to continuously improve practice capability.

Project Management:

• Plan, execute, and finalize multiple, concurrent ERP projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution.

Delivery Oversight:

• Ensure high-quality delivery of ERP services including implementation, customization, integration, migration, and support.
• Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance in service delivery processes.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency and satisfaction.
• Conduct regular status meetings and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

• Lead Delivery team members
• Mentor and guide team members in ERP best practices and project execution.

Risk & Issue Management:

• Identify potential project risks and issues early; develop and execute mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in ERP project management or service delivery.
• Proven experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite, Acumatica etc.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

Work Environment:

• Remote or on-site depending on project needs.
• Travel may be required based on project location and client engagement.
