About The Role
BroadPath, a Sagility company, is seeking experienced Healthcare Customer Service Specialists to join our remote team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for healthcare members, patients, and providers, handling inbound and outbound calls to address inquiries, schedule appointments, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, adaptable, and possess healthcare, insurance, or call center experience. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of call center customer service experience handling high call volumes
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare or health insurance experience (member services, patient services, provider services, benefits support, or similar)
- Previous employment stability with at least 6 months in each role
- Knowledge of privacy regulations such as HIPAA and ability to manage sensitive information discreetly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems accurately while handling calls
- Comfortable working remotely with a designated private workspace
- Proven reliability and a stable work history

- Respond to inbound calls and make outbound calls to assist members or patients with inquiries, benefits, scheduling, and service coordination
- Provide accurate information regarding health plan benefits, eligibility, and coverage details
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments with healthcare providers
- Process referrals, authorizations, prescription renewals, and other related requests
- Assist with claims questions, billing inquiries, and updating member or patient accounts
- Review and update insurance or plan eligibility in the system
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation within electronic systems such as EMR or CRM tools
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and internal teams via phone, secure messaging, or email
- Ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
- Escalate complex issues to supervisors or specialized teams for resolution
