Graphic Designer Job Summary:

We are looking for multiple Graphic Designer of various levels to join a global communications firm on a part-time/ ad-hoc basis. This role is fully remote, but you must currently reside in MD, VA, DC, MA, OH, MO, MS, TN, IN, TX, FL, NC, AL, GA or OK. Applicants residing in other states will not be considered.

We’re not just looking for a Designer, but a visual storyteller—responsible for creating effective, dynamic and well thought out design that motivates and inspires people to take action. You understand that creative is not just about grabbing attention but about creating a relationship with your audience. They must be able to create a variety of content—from memes, movie posters, presentations and infographics to short animations, social media posts and web banners. You must have the ability to communicate information and data creatively and effectively. Speed, agility and positive attitude required. You should be comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams and have strong graphics, and storytelling ability.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, working directly with account and creative teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Work with teams to design a variety of materials including content and presentations to support clients and business development including:
  • Concepting creative ways simplify and visualize complex information.
  • Making recommendations on form and function of materials.
  • Producing presentation materials, for use in digital formats.
  • Creating custom graphics and designs, including brand identities, print and digital collateral, presentations and other original work.
  • Collaborate with the producers, other designers, creative group members and account teams to gather and share best practices.
  • Enforce and follow established style guides and brand standards.
  • Meet deadlines dependably.
  • Adapt creative concepts to a wide variety of formats and media.

Graphic Designer Qualifications:

  • 4-12+ years of design experience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment at a digital, PR or advertising agency.
  • Passionate about design, communication, and client service.
  • Understanding of and experience in layout, color theory and typography in both digital and print.
  • Ability to uphold brand and style guidelines while creating new graphic content within those guidelines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of presentation and information design.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with colleagues who understand design as well as agency colleagues who may not.
  • Desire and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage time effectively, and quickly incorporate multi-dimensional feedback.
  • Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully.
  • Expert knowledge, accuracy and speed in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint with working knowledge of Word; motion graphics and animation skills (After Effects) a plus.
  • Design school degree or bachelor’s degree in design required.
