We are seeking an HR Shared Services Specialist to provide high-quality support to employees and managers across a variety of Human Resources functions. This role focuses on responding to inquiries, resolving employee concerns, maintaining accurate case records, and contributing to process improvements that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, compensation, talent programs, HR policies, and other Human Resources matters.
- Provide accurate guidance and support while ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Investigate and resolve routine HR issues and employee concerns, escalating complex cases when appropriate.
- Support managers and team members through coaching, education, and guidance on HR processes and procedures.
- Manage cases using HR service management and HRIS platforms, ensuring timely documentation, tracking, and resolution.
- Maintain accurate employee records and case documentation while adhering to data privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and service delivery within the HR support function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve employee issues and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Monitor service requests and follow established service-level expectations for case resolution.
- Contribute to knowledge management initiatives, process documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
- Perform additional HR support and administrative activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Services, HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or a related support role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain HR processes clearly and professionally.
- Excellent customer service and employee support skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Experience handling confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency with HR systems, case management tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a shared services, HR operations, employee support center, or service desk environment.
- Familiarity with HR case management platforms and HRIS systems.
- Experience using tools such as ServiceNow, Workday, AI-assisted HR support platforms, or similar enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of HR processes related to benefits, compensation, employee relations, talent management, and HR policies.
- Experience supporting process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
