Human Resources Coordinator

2. About the Opportunity:

The Human Resources Coordinator role provides essential administrative support to enhance the employee experience and prepare the organization for growth. The position involves managing HR processes and administrative tasks across multiple HR programs, contributing directly to building scalable HR systems and processes from the ground up. This role offers broad exposure to various HR functions and plays a critical part in ensuring smooth HR operations during a period of expansion.

3. Responsibilities:

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding to ensure a smooth, supportive experience

• Serve as the first point of contact for the HR Help Desk, responding to employee inquiries in line with culture, policies, and labor laws

• Organize HR personnel files, including digitizing records and maintaining compliance

• Process employee changes and maintain accurate data in the HRIS

• Improve process efficiency by documenting standard operating procedures and creating resource materials

• Conduct HR trainings for employees and managers

• Perform other administrative HR tasks as assigned

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of HR-related experience

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance

• Customer service orientation focused on finding best solutions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with professionalism and compassion

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Self-starter able to work reliably in a remote setting

• Trustworthiness in handling sensitive and confidential information

• Ability to identify and implement process improvements

• Passion for working in a fluid, entrepreneurial environment

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• $25.50 per hour

• $2,000 continuing education stipend
