What is the job?

The Techno-Functional Lead, Oracle Fusion Financials is a senior role (Senior Consultant / Manager level) that combines functional leadership, solution architecture and design authority, and system administration for Oracle Fusion General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Portfolio Management, and Fixed Assets across both implementation and steady-state operation.

As functional lead and solution architect, the role owns functional and configuration design for the assigned modules, makes design decisions within program standards, and ensures the subledger-to-ledger accounting flow is correct, controlled, and reconcilable. As an administrator, the role owns ongoing configuration including quarterly Oracle release adoption, support environment and change management.

The role is hands-on: it designs, configures, loads and validates data, builds reports, and resolves issues directly, while directing analysts, consultants, and System Integrator resources within the workstream.

The role reports to the VP, Finance Transformation and Automation and partners with process owners, the accounting and control teams, Technology, third-party providers, and the System Integrator. Deep platform architecture and custom integration development remain with Technology and the System Integrator.

Salary: From £51,750

Location: This is a remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US or UK (depending on your Right to Work status)

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the functional design, configuration, and continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Portfolio Management, and Fixed Assets.
  • Own quarterly Oracle release adoption, regression testing, change management, and system enhancements across the Financials platform.
  • Lead data migration, validation, reconciliation, and testing activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and accounting flows.
  • Build and maintain financial reporting, reconciliations, and controls using Oracle reporting tools.
  • Support cutover, go-live, hypercare, and the transition into steady-state operations.
  • Provide leadership and direction to analysts, consultants, third-party providers, and System Integrator resources within the Oracle workstream.

About you

  • Proven experience leading Oracle Fusion Financials implementations as a Senior Consultant, Manager, Solution Architect, or similar.
  • Strong expertise across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, with working knowledge of Projects and Fixed Assets.
  • Deep understanding of chart of accounts design, subledger accounting, financial controls, period close, and reconciliation processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle configuration, security and role design, release management, and change control.
  • Experience using FBDI/ADFDI for data conversion and OTBI and/or BI Publisher for reporting.
  • Able to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications and experience within a multi-country, multi-currency environment would be advantageous.
  • You will be a great fit, if our values resonate with you: We Create, We Perform, We Inspire. Read more about them here - About us
