Why Oviva?
At Oviva, we’re on a mission to make sustainable, personalized, clinically effective care accessible to everyone and to deliver against our vision of becoming Europe’s leading AI-powered chronic care platform.
Our digital programmes support people living with weight related illnesses. While weight loss is a goal for many, our approach is about so much more: improving health, building confidence, and enhancing quality of life.
We’ve already supported over one million people across the UK, Switzerland, and Germany, with a shared service centre in Poland. Every conversation, coaching session, and line of code helps move us closer to a healthier future. Join us and be part of the team making that future possible.
The role
Are you passionate about using data to transform lives? At Oviva, we place our patients first. We are looking for a data-driven leader to join our Business Intelligence team and help us drive the future of personalized healthcare in the UK.

- Empower our teams: You’ll manage and mentor a team of 3-4 analysts, helping them reach their full potential while fostering a culture of excellence.
- Strategize & Collaborate: You will partner with senior stakeholders—including our UK Managing Director and Clinical Directors—to set the regional data strategy.
- Drive Innovation: From designing high-quality dashboards to leading machine learning projects in Python, you’ll ensure our reporting is both accurate and forward-thinking.
- Make it happen: You will lead transformation projects and set new standards for self-service data practices, making it easier for everyone at Oviva to understand and use data.
About You
- Expertise: You have at least 8 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with 4-6 years specifically in people management.
- Technical Skill: You are comfortable using complex SQL to solve hard problems and have experience with various visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Pragmatism: You have a result-driven mindset and the ability to find clarity within imperfect data sets.
- Communication: You are fluent in English and excellent at managing relationships with senior leadership.
- Education: A degree in a mathematical subject or equivalent proven experience in data analytics.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Python or working within a Google Cloud/BigQuery environment.
- A background in providing self-service reporting models.
- Experience with dbt and a clear understanding of the models required for scale.
What we offer
- The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in revolutionizing healthcare
- Exciting and rewarding role in the high-growth environment
- Training and development opportunities, with a personal learning allowance
- We embrace flexibility & remote working
- We provide a home working allowance to enable you to set up your workspace in a way which suits you
- Competitive Salary & company pension
