As we grow rapidly, we’re looking for a Sales Consultant who can help us generate qualified leads, build strong relationships, and fuel our next stage of expansion.
The Role
The Sales Consultant will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities with e-commerce brands that need fulfillment services. This role is perfect for someone who’s driven, entrepreneurial, and excited to work with a fast-moving startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and engage potential clients through outbound prospecting, referrals, and networking.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline of e-commerce brands that align with Nexgen’s services.
- Client Outreach: Conduct outreach campaigns (emails, LinkedIn, calls) to introduce Nexgen and secure discovery meetings.
- Needs Assessment: Understand the pain points of e-commerce operators and position Nexgen’s solutions as the answer.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the Nexgen leadership team to prepare proposals, contracts, and presentations.
- Reporting: Track leads, opportunities, and sales activity in CRM or agreed-upon tools, providing updates to leadership.
- Brand Growth: Represent Nexgen at industry events (virtual or in-person) when needed, helping elevate our brand presence.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or consulting (3PL, logistics, or e-commerce experience a plus).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
- Comfortable with outreach and lead generation (cold outreach, LinkedIn networking, etc.).
- Entrepreneurial mindset—thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and supply chain challenges is highly valued.
