Remote within Ireland | Contract until April 2027
Our client is looking for a Training Content Designer to join them. The team supports a global Payments Risk Operations function, developing the training, processes and learning materials that enable operational teams and external partner sites to work effectively.
The team has a strong focus on training curriculum design, e-learning, workflows and business process improvement, with exposure to a wide range of product and operational launches.
The Role:
This is an entry-level opportunity for someone with a passion for learning design, e-learning and creating clear, engaging content.
Your primary focus will be on training content design and e-learning, with some ad-hoc support for training delivery when required. You will work closely with subject-matter experts, engineers and operational teams to understand new systems, processes and launches, and translate complex information into practical, learner-friendly content.
A major upcoming project will involve supporting the migration from an existing operational system to a new platform. You will play an important role in helping teams and partner sites understand and adopt the new system by creating engaging training content and opportunities to practise before launch.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and build training content across formats, including e-learning modules, quick-reference guides, assessments and onboarding materials.
- Create interactive learning experiences using Absorb, including mini learning environments and "playgrounds" where agents can practise using new systems before they go live.
- Support training activity following product and system launches, interpreting changes and turning them into clear, accessible training materials.
- Work closely with engineers and subject-matter experts during project meetings to understand upcoming changes and advise on training requirements and user experience.
- Support training for internal teams and external partner sites.
- Translate complex workflows, policies, procedures and system changes into clear, learner-focused content.
- Maintain and update existing training materials to reflect changes to policies, systems and processes.
- Support the development of knowledge checks and assessments to ensure learners understand new processes and systems.
- Contribute to the wider team’s workflow and business process improvement initiatives.
- Manage and organise learning content within the LMS, including publishing modules, assigning curricula and monitoring completion.
- Review content from a learner's perspective, identifying areas where complexity, jargon or information density could impact understanding.
- Attend project and launch meetings, confidently contributing ideas and asking questions to ensure training requirements are considered from the outset.
What You’ll Bring
Required

- Experience with an e-learning authoring tool such as Articulate 360/Rise, Adobe Captivate or equivalent.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise and engaging content.
- Confidence working with ambiguous information and turning it into structured learning content.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

- A proactive approach, with the confidence to ask questions, share ideas and contribute to discussions.
