Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a social media manager and content creator related to a public advocacy campaign in Spain - we are not selling products but influencing opinion on issues. The freelancer will be responsible for drafting and publishing posts and short videos for our social platforms, primarily in Spanish but also occasionally in English. The freelancer will also be responsible for paid promotions of content, growing the base of followers and engagements, and maintaining metrics for reporting.
Qualifications
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong knowledge of social media culture, memes, and viral content
- Experience with Wordpress, Canva, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok
- Basic video editing in Capcut or other tools
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies, how to create successful targeted paid promotions
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, or related field
- Previous experience in journalism, digital marketing web editing
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
