Picture Yourself In The Role If you were here for this month, you would have:
- Delivered meaningful work – worked alongside your product squad to deliver updates to production as planned at the beginning of the cycle.
- Collaborated cross-functionally – worked alongside with Maureen (Group Product Manager) and Paul (Engineering Team Lead) to plan the shape and scope of product improvements for the coming cycles.
- Jumped into the depths of Figma – working iteratively to deliver solutions that enhance the user experience whilst adhering to our Design System.
- Jammed with the Design Team – chatted with Scott and Sam (Senior Product Designers) to align on shared vision, critique other’s work in progress, and gather feedback to help progress your own priorities.
- Kicked off a significant project for our product – pairing with Andrew (Product Design Manager), you kick off design discovery using customer insights to inform the direction of a brand new strategic feature.
- Talked with customers – joined a customer interview as part of our continuous discovery efforts, to learn more about their usage of Lyssna, and inform future design decisions.
- Shared your work – recorded a walkthrough of your work in progress to share with the broader team in Slack.
Location This role is fully remote and open to candidates in Australia and New Zealand. Salary We use a fixed salary formula to ensure fair compensation, with opportunities for salary increases based on performance: Australia: $168,000 AUD + superannuation, ESOP New Zealand: $170,000 NZD + KiwiSaver, ESOP Perks and Benefits 📅 Flexible work: We make sure work fits your lifestyle by offering a choice between a 5, 4.5, or 4 day work week (pro-rata). The interview process For This Role, Our Interview Process Has Four Steps
- Screener call (via phone, 15 minutes): A conversation to discuss the role, the team and your relevant experience and suitability. This interview will be with Andrew.
- Technical interview (online, 1.5 hours): A three part interview comprising a portfolio review, a situational exercise, and a series of process questions. This interview will be with Andrew, Maureen, and Scott.
- Culture interview (online, 1 hour): A conversation focused on how you work in teams, our company values, and alignment around expectations of the role. You’ll get to meet more of the team as part of this interview.
If you're successful, we’ll speak with a couple of your references to answer any remaining questions we have around fit during the offer stage. We also conduct a police check as part of our SOC2 requirements. If you have any questions around the process we’re always happy to share more context in the introductory call.
