This role supports senior-level office operations in a highly structured environment, with a focus on keeping priorities moving smoothly and efficiently. You will manage calendars, coordinate travel, and help ensure communications, documentation, and office workflows are handled with accuracy and professionalism. The position also plays an important liaison role across offices, supporting timely information flow and administrative responsiveness in a fast-paced setting.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $136,673+ annually
Responsibilities
- Manage schedules and appointments for senior officials
- Coordinate complex travel arrangements and prepare related documentation
- Serve as a liaison between senior officials and other offices
- Compile data and conduct preliminary analyses when requested
- Draft and prepare correspondence, reports, and briefing materials
- Review and process incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently
- Maintain comprehensive office files and ensure timely communication
- 5+ years of administrative experience within the Department of State or a similar agency
- Strong understanding of Department of State operations
- Proven ability to manage senior-level office functions under pressure
- Expertise in general administrative practices and office management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with both classified and unclassified information
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
