Are you experienced in supporting travelers across Europe and passionate about delivering thoughtful, dependable customer service? Do you feel confident assisting guests while they’re abroad and navigating real-world travel challenges?
We’re looking for a European Travel Customer Service Representative to support American travelers during trips throughout the British Isles, Italy, and other European destinations. This role is ideal for someone who has worked with European travel logistics and/or traveled extensively in these regions and understands how things work on the ground.
The Role
You’ll serve as a primary point of contact for travelers while they are overseas. You’ll provide responsive, knowledgeable support to ensure their trips run smoothly, helping resolve issues, answer questions, and coordinate services as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time customer support via phone, text, WhatsApp, and email while travelers are abroad
- Assist with travel-related issues such as delayed transfers, schedule changes, booking errors, or missed services
- Communicate with European vendors, guides, hotels, and transportation partners to resolve issues efficiently
- Feel confident offering destination-specific guidance based on firsthand knowledge or professional experience
- Coordinate closely with the trip-planning team to ensure continuity of service and accurate traveler support
- Maintain clear documentation and updates in CRM and internal systems
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of customer service experience in travel, tours, hospitality, or a related field
- Direct experience working with and/or traveling to European destinations, especially the British Isles (Ireland, Scotland, England), Italy, and surrounding European regions
- Strong understanding of European travel logistics, cultural norms, and common on-the-ground challenges
- Excellent communication skills with a calm, solution-oriented approach
- Comfortable supporting travelers across European time zones
- Tech-savvy and confident using WhatsApp, email, CRM tools, and reservation systems
- Fluent in English; additional European language skills are a plus
Ideal Candidate
- Has firsthand European travel experience or has supported clients traveling internationally
- Understands the expectations of American travelers in Europe
- Reliable, organized, and able to handle multiple active trips at once
Salary Expectations
- Variable €33,000 - €38,000 depending on experience
- Bonus structure averaging €1000 based on performance reviews annually
- Additional €100 bonuses per client retention
