The Role:

We're looking for a contract Creative Strategist & Video Editor to help build and scale our paid content engine. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to turn raw content into high-performing ads. You'll work closely with our marketing team to source, organize, edit, and iterate on creative assets across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other paid channels. We're not looking for someone who simply edits videos. We're looking for someone who understands performance marketing, knows how to create attention-grabbing content, and can help generate a high volume of creative variations that drive results.

What You’ll Do:Creative Strategy & Performance Content

  • Develop creative concepts, hooks, messaging angles, and ad variations for paid social campaigns
  • Analyze winning creatives and identify opportunities to generate new concepts and iterations
  • Help build and maintain a consistent pipeline of fresh creative for testing
  • Collaborate with leadership, athletes, ambassadors, and content creators to identify content opportunities

Video Editing & Content Production

  • Edit short-form video content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital channels
  • Turn existing content, user-generated content, athlete footage, testimonials, and product content into compelling advertisements
  • Create multiple variations of ads to support creative testing initiatives
  • Add captions, motion graphics, overlays, hooks, and other elements that improve engagement and conversion rates
  • Organize and maintain creative asset libraries for efficient production workflows

Performance Marketing Support

  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and performance goals
  • Review creative performance data and apply learnings to future content
  • Continuously test new concepts, formats, and editing styles
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform best practices, and emerging creative strategies

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–5 years of experience in creative strategy, video editing, content creation, paid social, or a related role
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video editing and performance-focused creative work
  • Experience creating content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms, preferably within sports, athletics, or consumer brands
  • Strong understanding of baseball and softball culture, including the athletes, families, trends, and communities that make up the game
  • Deep understanding of what drives engagement, retention, and conversions in paid social advertising
  • Proficiency in editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, and direct-response creative principles
  • Ability to work quickly, iterate rapidly, and produce a high volume of content
  • Comfortable receiving performance feedback and using data to improve creative output
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to test ideas, solve problems, and continuously improve
