Job Description

Posted on: September 11, 2026

We are seeking a Data Admin to join our growing team. This is a REMOTE role, however, there may be occasional requirements to travel to our head office based in Suffolk IP6 0FU. Applicants must therefore be within easy commuting distance.

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Type: Permanent full time employed position

Hours: 40 hours per week Mon-Fri

Demand for our in-house data analytics continues to grow, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive individual to join our expanding Data & Analytics team.

We're not looking for someone who knows everything already.

We're looking for someone who loves learning, enjoys solving problems and wants to build a long-term career in Data & Analytics.

At IPRS, we've successfully developed colleagues from data administration and operational data roles into highly effective analysts, and we're committed to continuing that investment in people. This role has been created because we believe developing talent from within is often more valuable than simply hiring experience from outside. If you're naturally curious, enjoy understanding how things work, ask lots of questions, and take pride in producing high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you.

We can teach:

SQL

Power BI

Reporting tools

Microsoft Fabric

Data Warehousing

What we're really looking for is:

Curiosity

Enthusiasm

Critical thinking

Attention to detail

A genuine desire to learn

Someone who asks "why?"

Someone who enjoys working with people

Someone who wants to solve problems, not just complete tasks

You don't need years of analytics experience.

You don't need to know every technical tool.

You do need to be motivated, engaged, curious and ready to develop.

We're less interested in finding someone who knows everything already, and more interested in finding someone who asks great questions, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about developing their career in data.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing as a Data Admin for IPRS

Learning how we used to work, to improve how we will work

Engaging with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges and reporting requirements.

Gathering, analysing and interpreting data from a variety of sources.

Support the maintenance, validation and improvement of business data.

Support the creation of reports, dashboards and data visualisations.

Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and automate manual tasks.

Aiding your Data & Analytics colleagues with structured output testing.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to deliver analytics solutions.

Supporting the transition from traditional reporting methods to modern self-service analytics and dashboarding.

Contributing to a culture of continuous learning, improvement and innovation.

What You'll Be Learning as a Data Admin for IPRS

How the business works

How to engage with stakeholders

Microsoft Fabric

Power BI / DAX

SQL

Agile Project Management

Auditable testing processes

Career Development:

This role forms part of our long-term Data & Analytics career pathway.

We believe the best analysts are developed through a combination of curiosity, business understanding, stakeholder engagement and technical learning.

Successful candidates will be supported to develop the skills and experience needed to progress through the analytics function, with the expectation that you will develop into a Data Analyst role.

We are committed to supporting learning, development and continuous professional growth throughout this journey to help you achieve that.

A Note on AI:

We recognise the growing role AI can play in enhancing productivity, creativity and learning, and we're actively exploring its application within our own Data & Analytics function.

However, throughout the recruitment process, we want to get to know you.

We are interested in your experiences, your thought processes, your curiosity, and how you approach solving problems.

Using AI as a tool to improve the presentation of an application is one thing; relying on it to represent your knowledge, abilities or responses is another.

Applications, assessments and interviews should reflect your own thinking and communication skills. Where we believe responses are not the candidate's own, we reserve the right to discontinue the recruitment process.

In short, we'd much rather meet an enthusiastic future analyst
