12-Month FTC | Product Pricing Analyst – Automotive eCommerce

Ā£50,000 + Performance-Related Bonus | Fully Remote | UK | 12-Month FTC

The opportunity

Our client is an established automotive eCommerce technology business supporting complex digital retail programmes across European markets.

Behind every successful eCommerce proposition sits an enormous amount of data — product ranges, competitor activity, demand, inventory, promotions, pricing and margin.

They're now looking for an experienced Product Pricing Analyst to take ownership of turning that information into better commercial decisions.

This is a role for somebody who enjoys getting underneath the numbers rather than simply reporting them.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with the Head of Category Management and wider Category, Sales and Marketing teams, you'll provide the analysis and commercial insight behind pricing decisions across eCommerce channels.

You'll be responsible for areas including:

  • Developing and maintaining pricing models and frameworks
  • Analysing competitor pricing and wider market movements
  • Assessing customer demand, inventory and product performance
  • Monitoring pricing accuracy and identifying anomalies or discrepancies
  • Analysing margin and promotional effectiveness
  • Identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance
  • Turning complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Supporting Category teams with evidence-led pricing decisions
  • Working collaboratively across Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders
  • Improving the processes and methodologies used to manage pricing at scale

What we're looking for

You'll need strong experience within pricing, commercial analysis, product analysis or a similarly data-led environment.

You'll be comfortable working with large datasets and using Excel to interrogate information rather than simply present it.

More importantly, you need commercial curiosity.

We want somebody who asks why a product is performing differently, why a competitor has moved its price, what a promotion has actually delivered and what the business should do next.

Automotive, eCommerce, retail, marketplaces or another product-led environment would be particularly relevant, although deep automotive parts knowledge isn't essential for this position.

Why consider it?

You'll be joining a specialist business operating where automotive, technology, data and eCommerce converge, with your analysis directly influencing real commercial decisions.

This is an individual-contributor position with genuine ownership and visibility, working alongside experienced Category and commercial specialists on a significant automotive programme.

Salary: £50,000 + performance-related bonus
