Job Description:
Senior, analytically driven hire supporting Clinical Programs. They will turn UM, Case Management, and Population Health data into KPIs, models, and client-facing insights — not generic dashboard work.
They will:
- Monitor UM and Case Management with KPIs (member engagement, readmissions, preventable hospitalizations, ER utilization)
- Build statistical models on cost, utilization, and clinical outcomes
- Build algorithms to stratify populations and flag high-risk members
- Use predictive analytics to measure ROI of Disease Management and Medical Management programs
- Run prospective savings analyses
- Build and maintain client-facing reports, dashboards, and analyses
- Advise on client and program strategy
- Present in program performance reviews to clinical program managers, account managers, and external clients
- Manage concurrent client requests and timelines
- Partner with Medical Management
Must-haves Skills
- Bachelor’s in Math, Statistics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or related
- 5–7 years healthcare analytics, preferably managed care / health plan / payer
- SQL + Microsoft SQL Server / SSMS (hands-on)
- Advanced Excel
- Clinical program evaluation and outcomes reporting
- Health-plan performance reporting and cost/utilization analysis
- Client-facing reporting
- Power BI / Tableau / PowerPivot with DAX
- Can explain technical work to non-technical clinical and client audiences
- Clear American English (client-facing)
- Plus: ZeOmega or other payer care-management platforms.
