We are seeking an Employee Development Specialist to join a growing People & Culture team. This newly created, fully remote role will bridge Learning & Development and Talent Management, embedding in the field to listen, learn, and strengthen integration between the two areas. The Employee Development Specialist will ensure alignment between development initiatives and talent strategies to drive employee growth, performance, and career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Learning & Development and Talent Management to align development strategies with organizational goals
- Support the design and integration of learning programs into talent processes, including performance management, succession planning, and career pathing
- Analyze talent and engagement data to inform development strategies and identify skill gaps
- Track and report on program effectiveness and outcomes
- Manage learning content and support skill-based development structures
- Facilitate communication and change management for development initiatives
- Partner closely with department leaders, functional managers, and the People & Culture team to ensure employee development programs are impactful and aligned with business needs
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or related HR function
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar)
- Understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles
- Experience with HRIS, LMS, and digital learning tools (Workday, Cornerstone, Degreed, LinkedIn Learning)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
