Your new role
As the ERP Transformation Lead, you'll take ownership of the planning and mobilisation phase of a major transformation portfolio. Working closely with senior executives and emerging program leads, you'll bring multiple workstreams together into a single, investment-ready roadmap.
You'll drive procurement, readiness assessments, business case development, governance, and executive decision-making to ensure the organisation is positioned for successful program delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead enterprise-wide ERP readiness and transformation planning.
- Develop integrated roadmaps, delivery sequencing, and dependency management plans.
- Drive end-to-end implementation partner procurement, from market engagement through to executive recommendation.
- Build business cases, funding submissions, benefits realisation frameworks, and investment strategies.
- Establish governance models, reporting frameworks, and executive decision-making processes.
- Prepare Board and Executive-level papers, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Finance, HR, Technology, Data, Security, and Procurement functions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience leading large-scale ERP transformations as a Program Director, Transformation Lead or Senior Program Manager.
- Hands-on TechnologyOne experience, ideally across ERP implementation, migration, readiness, procurement or transformation programs.
- Demonstrated experience within the Higher Education sector, with a strong understanding of university governance, executive approval processes and complex stakeholder environments.
- Proven track record developing and securing approval for multi-million-dollar business cases and transformation investments.
- Strong procurement leadership experience, including RFP/RFT development, vendor evaluation, implementation partner selection and commercial negotiations.
- Experience leading multiple interdependent workstreams across Finance, HR, Technology, Data and Security functions.
- Exceptional executive stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to ELT, steering committees, boards or councils.
- Expertise in program mobilisation, strategic planning, governance, benefits realisation and transformation delivery.
