Position Overview

Harvard in Tech is seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead its newly established and growing Human Resources team. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for developing HR policies, driving recruitment initiatives, and cultivating an inclusive and engaging volunteer culture. The Senior HR Manager will collaborate closely with organizational leadership to ensure HR practices align with Harvard in Tech’s mission and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Analyze reports from HR team members, team leaders, and operations managers to evaluate performance and identify training needs.
  • Recommend policy and procedural improvements based on organizational requirements.
  • Develop recruitment plans, interview schedules, and evaluation standards in alignment with HR best practices.
  • Oversee all HR activities, communications, reports, and documentation.
  • Participate in cross-functional leadership meetings to support organizational planning.
  • Manage exit interviews and offboarding processes to enhance the volunteer experience.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong computer proficiency and experience with office management and communication tools.
  • Ability to interpret and apply statistical data to HR processes and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team development, and training capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Expertise in HR methodologies and understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply complex concepts, theories, and methodologies.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
