About the Role

Mercor is seeking experienced Human Resources Specialists to support a high-impact AI research initiative. In this role, you’ll help train large language models (LLMs) by writing, reviewing, and validating HR-focused prompts and evaluating AI-generated responses.

Your expertise will directly contribute to the development of AI tools that better understand real-world HR operations, compliance, and employee support practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Write high-quality HR scenario-based prompts to train AI systems
• Review and validate prompt-response pairs for accuracy, clarity, and relevance
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs and provide structured feedback
• Ensure alignment with current HR best practices, compliance standards, and operational workflows
• Collaborate asynchronously with the project team to meet quality expectations

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in Human Resources or People Operations
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of hiring processes, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and HR documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to provide clear, constructive feedback
• Must be able to complete a 25-minute screen-sharing task as part of the interview
• Desktop or laptop required (mobile applications not supported)

Role Highlights

• Flexible workload: 10–20 hours/week (with potential to increase to 40)
• Fully remote and asynchronous work
• Minimum contract duration: 1–2 months (with possibility for extension)
• Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
• Legally classified as an independent contractor for Mercor
