Workday Adaptive Planning: FP&A Manager/Adaptive Admin
Position Summary:
We are seeking an FP&A Manager/Adaptive Admin to support our client's financial planning and analysis initiatives. This individual will partner with finance and business stakeholders to optimize Workday Adaptive Planning implementations while delivering actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
With experience managing financial models, planning processes, and system administration, you'll play a key role in enabling our clients to forecast with confidence and maximize the value of their Adaptive Planning investment. Experience in the energy sector or with private equity-backed organizations is highly valued for this role.
Location: Remote (Austin-based candidates preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
· Administer and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning instances, including model configuration, user management, and system maintenance.
· Develop, maintain, and enhance financial planning models supporting budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
· Partner with finance leaders and business stakeholders to gather planning requirements and translate them into scalable Adaptive Planning solutions.
· Design and implement planning workflows, data validation rules, and reporting dashboards aligned with business objectives.
· Manage data flows between Adaptive Planning and source systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
· Support month-end close, annual budget planning, and ad hoc analysis cycles.
· Troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and provide training to end users.
· Document planning processes, model logic, and system configurations to support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
· Apply knowledge of energy sector operations or private equity firm structures to optimize planning processes and financial workflows.
