Scope of Partnership

Your primary objective is to define and oversee the social media strategy for our global Flashscore.com accounts to drive brand awareness, engagement, and traffic. As a strategic partner, you will ensure our social media channels achieve sustainable growth and maintain a cutting-edge creative standard.

  • Strategic Oversight: Lead the long-term social media roadmap and coordinate with the creative team to ensure high-quality content delivery.
  • HQ Alignment: Synchronize with the Global HQ Social Media team on content direction, major campaigns, and global brand consistency.
  • Content Architecture: Oversee the conceptualization and distribution of engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Performance Analytics: Analyze channel metrics to optimize effectiveness and provide strategic recommendations for growth.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Facilitate synergy between various stakeholders, including graphic designers, video editors, influencer managers, and specialists.
  • Trend & Influence Management: Identify opportunities for collaboration with local and global influencers. Prioritize video-first content strategies.
  • Real-time Engagement: Leverage sports events and viral trends to create reactive content. Given the nature of the sports industry, delivery of services is expected to align with major event schedules (including evenings or weekends when relevant).
  • Innovation: Stay at the forefront of social media best practices to ensure the brand remains a leader in the digital sports space.

Expertise & RequirementsProfessional Background

  • Proven Track Record: 3+ years of experience in managing high-level social media strategies, ideally with experience in the sports or football industry.
  • Strategic Leadership: Previous experience in a lead or consultant role, preferably within a marketing agency or a global brand environment.
  • Platform Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of major social media ecosystems and the specific nuances of the football fan community.
  • Market Intelligence: Deep understanding of top European football leagues and the ability to tailor content to diverse fan demographics.

Technical & Communication Skills

  • Creative Tools: Proficiency in Canva/Photoshop/Illustrator for quick-turnaround visual adjustments (supporting the primary work of dedicated designers).
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with planning and analytics platforms (e.g., Zoomsphere).
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex strategies clearly.
  • Efficiency: Ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines, typical for the fast-paced sports environment.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working via digital collaboration tools (Slack, G-Suite, Google Meet) for regular strategic syncs with the HQ team.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced creative skills (Photoshop/Illustrator) or long-form video experience (YouTube).
  • Insight into the betting industry and bettor behavior.
  • Experience in managing international influencer campaigns.

Other Details

  • Location: UK or Europe-based.
  • Language: C2/Native level of English is required for all deliverables and communication.
