People Operations Specialist

About The Role The role owns core people operations functions, managing HR systems, onboarding lifecycles, and compliance across distributed teams. You will partner with talent acquisition and people-team leadership to scale operational infrastructure that supports growing employee bases. Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding workflows in HRIS platforms such as Rippling or Workday
• Administer global benefits programs, leave management, and payroll coordination with finance teams
• Ensure company compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws across remote jurisdictions
• Maintain people data integrity, produce recurring headcount reports, and audit HR records regularly
• Partner with people-team leadership to iterate on internal policies, handbooks, and standard operating procedures
• Resolve employee operational inquiries via ticketing systems with an emphasis on prompt, empathetic service

What We Are Looking For

• 2-4 years of experience in people operations, HR generalist, or talent administration roles within a technology company
• Hands-on administrative experience with modern HRIS, ATS, and identity management tools (e.g., Rippling, BambooHR, Okta)
• Strong working knowledge of employment compliance, data privacy, and remote-work regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: Experience scaling operations during rapid company growth or implementing new HR technology stacks
