We are seeking an experienced independent Sales Contractor to identify, engage, and secure new clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare sectors. This is a contractor engagement (not employment), ideal for a self-motivated professional with an existing network in life sciences and a track record in business development or sales. The contractor will be responsible for generating qualified leads, initiating conversations with prospective clients, and supporting the conversion of opportunities into signed engagements. You will work independently and be compensated based on performance, with flexibility in how you operate.
Key Responsibilities
As an independent contractor, you will:
- Prospect and identify potential clients in pharma, biotech, and healthcare.
- Leverage your existing network to generate new business opportunities.
- Arrange introductory meetings between prospects and our team.
- Support the sales process by maintaining communication with leads.
- Track and report on leads, meetings, and opportunities generated.
- You are not required to deliver legal services, technical work, or implementation; your focus is client acquisition and relationship building.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or partnerships within pharma, biotech, or healthcare
- Existing industry contacts and ability to open doors.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Comfortable working on a commission or performance-based model.
- Experience working as a contractor or consultant is a plus.
